We find out more about his time growing up between Tehran and Frankfurt and how that shaped his early experiences with music, he also speaks about his studies at the Tehran Conservatory of Music and his eventual arrest and imprisonment for performing a secret gig with his then band. Along the way we delve into his creative process, his experiments on the edge of new technologies and software, and hear tracks that illustrate the broad range of sounds that have influenced his musical upbringing, with tracks from Jim O Rourke, Zbigniew Preisner, Sugar Rós, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
