Jon More, co-founder of NInja Tune and one half of Coldcut is interviewed by the composer and pianist James Heather, who is signed to another of Coldcut’s labels, Ahead Of Our Time. James chats to Jon about his musicial history and focuses on his relationship with ambient music. Subjects covered include talking about the composer Elgar being a family friend, recording strings in Abbey Road, pirate radio stations, working with Steve Reich, ambient music’s history and its relationship with Ninja Tune and much more.
