Ninja Tune Podcast - Louis Cole

from Ninja Tune Podcast

What do Quincy Jones, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Flying Lotus have in common? They’re all fans of Louis Cole. He’s had the rare pleasure of performing in Quincy Jones’ living room, been invited on tour with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and signed to Fly Lo’s label Brainfeeder, which isn’t bad going for someone who’s first 2 albums were released through his Youtube channel. Our producer Jack sat down with Louis backstage before his show in London this month to talk about Louis’ latest album, ‘Time’, and his follow up EP of Live sessions recorded with his talented friends including Nate Wood and Ben Wendel from Kneebody, Jacob Mann, Sam Wilkes and Genevieve Artadi to name but a few. Don’t forget to give us a rating on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
