Nintendo Podcast System Ep.64 - Happy Gaming!

from Nintendo Podcast System · host Jack Gawn, Matt Gibson, Sam Bryant Barnes

Yep, this is the last episode of Nintendo Podcast System. It’s been a great four years, filled with fun moments, wonderful guests, and cracking discussions about our favourite video games and the company that makes them.   We’re not gonna leave on too much of a sour note, however! With E3 2019 having wrapped up quite recently, we have a big ol’ chat/ramble/waffle about the show, with our main focus being Nintendo’s E3 Direct, of course! In true Nintendo Podcast System fashion, it goes on for quite a bit, but we hope you enjoy nonetheless!   We also want to take the opportunity to thank everybody that has been involved with or supported the show over the years. To all of our wonderful guests that have popped on the show before, to our previous co-hosts Jason and Sam, and to everybody that has listened in or shared the show in some way: thank you all so SO much. It has truly meant a lot to us throughout the years, and we hope it’s been as fun for you as it has been for us. For the last time then: we hope you enjoyed the show and happy gaming!   Time Markers:   Intro – 0:00:54   E3 Direct – 0:12:55   Final section – 2:14:47   The podcast can be found on:   PodOmatic (http://tinyurl.com/zuh9qkr ),   iTunes (http://tinyurl.com/zadm8vy ),   YouTube (http://tinyurl.com/hrr67a9 ),   and Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/show/5J3oH5Kz5CYgYVTlAQc1GK) .   If you enjoy the show then please subscribe to us and support the show!   Social Media and the like:   Twitter – @NPodcastSystem   Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/NPodcastSystem   e-mail – [email protected]   The podcast is a part of VGTribune, a site that is dedicated to video games.   Make sure to give it a look for news, reviews, and other gaming-related articles, especially Nintendo! http://vgtribune.com/   Featuring:   Matt - @acegibbo   Jack - @Gawny7789   Check out our YouTube channels!   acegibbo - http://tinyurl.com/z7bt3ro   Gawny7789 - http://tinyurl.com/hzz52p2   Music used:   Opening: Lifelight (Piano Ver.) – Super Smash Bros. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
