Thank you to Joanna for commissioning this episode!I'm kind of blown away at the direction this book is going, because there's a difference between "I'm not sure what to expect" and "There was no possible way to be prepared for the weirdness". And you know what? I'm into it. In these first chapters, we meet Alex, who is attending Yale and can see ghosts. But she's not a Yale student who can also see ghosts; she's a Yale student BECAUSE she can see ghosts, and the shady organization at the heart of the school needs her.
