Nisht For Me Episode 28 - How 2 British Jews are feeling right now - with psychotherapist Naomi Magnus

from Nisht For Me · host Arron Ferster, Abigail Radnor

An interruption to regular programming for @nishtforme this week.We had planned to record an upbeat, fun episode today to go out on Monday but, if we are honest, we just didn’t feel up to it.It’s been a long week. It’s been a long month. It’s been a long 2.5 years. And today we both felt thoroughly exhausted. So we decided to do something different with our episode. We have always found it helpful to discuss our feelings with one other, like we did after the Heaton Park attack in October, but this time we felt it would be more useful to both us and our audience to have a bit of professional help.So we are delighted that psychotherapist Naomi Magnus could join us this morning, listening to how we feel, sharing her own feelings and helping us understand why a lot of us feel the way we do in this moment. We certainly feel better having spoken to her. And we hope you will too after listening. So we have decided to put the episode out today. Thanks for joining us. Shabbat shalom - and look after yourselves.
