NNTS: Homeschool 101

I couldn't interview one of my sisters and not sit down with the other! This time, my sister who is an education professional, laid out some advice for parents who are forced to homeschool due to social distancing... Dr. Kristen A.M. dropped some jewels! We started the podcast with some basics about her job, educational background and general school talk. Next, we transitioned to discussing inequities in education and things that parents should know including their role in teaching and resources for their children. On the back half of the pod, we talked about coronavirus in the penitentiary and how the Baton Rouge area is responding to the crisis. We wrapped up with some ‘Big Sister Talk’, reminiscing on our childhood and some fun sibling moments along the way.
