Buckley was part of Butte Central's back-to-back-to-back title run in football from 1971 through 1973. He received postseason honors on both sides of the ball at Carroll College. He was a 210-pound All-American defensive tackle for the Saints and an undefeated boxer at Carroll. He also just might be the most interesting man in the world.
