No. 125: Curtis Smith

It's been more than 33 years since Curtis Smith played basketball for Butte High School. He is still mentioned all the time because he is one of the best players to ever suit up for the Bulldogs. He passed like Magic Johnson, though he'd rather you say it was like Larry Bird. Either way, Curtis was great. He played on Butte High's 1989 and 1990 teams, and the Bulldogs only lost three games in those two years. Unfortunately, two of them were championship games. He doesn't have that gold basketball of a state champion, but Curtis is a champion in my book. Curtis also really does seem to live by the Golden Rule.
