Before he was the team doctor for Carroll College, Dr. John Michelotti made his mark on the world as a barber. During the 1985-86 basketball season, he gave Butte High teammate Bart Black his famous mohawk. Michelotti was a quarterback who sometimes played receiver for Butte High. He took third at State in the 800-meter race, and he won the prestigious Harry "Swede" Dahlberg Award as the outstanding boy athlete for the Bulldogs.
