On Sunday, Col. Amy Klimt because the first female commander to oversee the 17th Sustainment Bridge of the Nevada Army National Guard. She says she would rather be referred to as the "shortest commander" instead of the "first female commander," though. Klima is a member of Butte High's Class of 1993, which is clearly the school's best class. She also attended McKinley Elementary, West Elementary and East Middle School. She joined the National Guard soon after graduation in June of 1993, and it has taken her to heights should could not have possibly imagined. Listen in as Col. Klima tells some of those stories.
