No. 173: Bryan Porch

Brian Porch is not from Butte. Of course, he has spent a ton of time in the Mining City running up and down the basketball court of the Butte Civic Center. Porch, a Florence native who works out of the Missoula pool, is retiring after a remarkable 40-year run officiating high school and college hoops. Simply put, Porch is as good as it gets. On Saturday, he will officiate his last game, which will be the third-place game of the Class A boys' basketball tournament. On Friday, he sat down to talk about his career.
