Since 1997, International Aid for Korean Animals has fought to educate the international community about the difficult conditions for dogs and cats in Korea. Earlier this year, the organization announced it was redirecting its focus to change perceptions and practices from within Korean society. That means elevating the status of companion animals, encouraging pet adoptions and shining a light on the cruelty of the dog and cat meat trade.
