Dave Silk was an Olympic speedskater and a World Cup Champion. He was an alternate in the 1984 Winter Olympic Games before competing in the 1988 Olympics. Soon, however, Dave might not even be the best speedskater in his family. His son, Will, is an Olympic hopeful who graduated from Butte High in June.
