Chad Okrusch made his first appearance on the ButteCast before he performed at the Montana Folk Festival in Butte in July 2023.He makes his return today to talk about the inaugural Americonda festival. It is billed as an American roots music jam at Smitty’s Barn on the west end of Anaconda. The event will feature Christy Hays, Ian Thomas, Kyle Rife, Matt Strachan, Jason Mahoney, Wes Urbaniak and Okrush.Gates open at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, and music will be played form 3 to 9 p.m. The cost is just $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show.
