Im Bodenseeraum ereigneten sich zwischen 1907 und 1935 mehrere Morde an jungen Mädchen. Die Taten folgten immer einem ähnlichen Muster – die Kinder wurden auf offener Straße verschleppt, getötet und anschließend sexuell missbraucht. Ein Täter wurde jedoch nicht erfasst. Erst im Fall der siebenjährigen Elisabeth Klösterer* konnte die Polizei einen Durchbruch vermelden. Doch war damit die Geschichte um den Mädchenfänger vom Bodensee damit noch lange nicht zu Ende. *Die Namen der Tatbeteiligten wurden für die Schilderungen geändert.
