No awards during a genocide
from JINS
🪧📯 Today on @jins_podcast, we delve into a different side of Hollywood in my special episode "No Awards during Genocide". As the Oscars' glam clashed with vital activism, I spotlight the powerful Free Palestine march. Amidst the glitter, voices like @feistypharaoh from SAG-AFTRA FOR CEASEFIRE and organizations like FILMWORKERS FOR PALESTINE (@brandnewfarihah), WRITERS AGAINST THE WAR IN GAZA (@therwees) and JEWISH VOICE FOR PEACE rise together, demanding a ceasefire and justice in Gaza, Raffah and all occupied territories. This episode isn't just about film—it's about the pivotal role of the 7th art in activism and the urgent fight for human rights. Tune in to explore how cinema and solidarity can intertwine to challenge narratives and inspire change. 📲 Follow @jins_podcast for more on these topics! 🤍❤️💚🖤 Hébergé par Acast.
