NO FLUKE: Commanders Defense Carries Camp Pressure Against Dolphins

Washington Commanders joint practice with the Miami Dolphins showed the defensive pressure was not just a training camp mirage. Odafe Oweh, Javon Kinlaw, Jer’Zhan Newton, Charles Omenihu, Daron Payne, Shy Tuttle, Joshua Josephs and Javontae Jean-Baptiste all showed up as pressure or run-game problems, while Mike Sainristil delivered the biggest defensive play with a pick-six. The offense had encouraging signs too, with Jayden Daniels sharp in one-on-ones, Stefon Diggs finding space, Antonio Williams making a touchdown splash and the two-minute drill moving quickly before stalling near the goal line.
