No, I Don't Want to Scan A QR Code To Read Your Menu
from The Daily Note with James A. Brown
You know that feeling when you sit down at a restaurant and you’re handed a menu that’s seen better days? Yeah, I totally get it. I'm not here to judge that ketchup stain or the coffee ring on the corner. For me, there's something comforting about holding a good old-fashioned paper menu. It’s part of the whole dining experience! You can almost feel the history behind it, like it’s been through countless meals just like yours. I understand why restaurants are opting for QR codes—it's cheaper, easier to update, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love saving a few bucks? But here’s the thing: I’ve got enough screen time in my life as it is. When I’m out to eat, I want to disconnect. I want to flip through a menu, not swipe through my phone. So, no thank you, I’m not scanning any QR codes. What about you? How do you feel about this trend? Hit me up on my site, jamesabrown.net, I’d love to hear your take on it!This podcast uses the following third-party services for analysis: Podcorn - https://podcorn.com/privacy
