No Judgment, Just Compassion “Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.” — Romans 2:1 (NKJV) We live in a world where it’s easy to judge — on social media, at school, even in church. It’s like we carry a magnifying glass for others’ mistakes, but look at our own through a foggy mirror. Paul reminds us in Romans 2:1 that when we judge others, we’re really condemning ourselves — because we often do the same things. It may not be the exact same mistake, but we all mess up. We all need God’s grace. That’s a powerful truth for young people: you’re not better than anyone else, but you can choose to love better than most. When we remember our own weaknesses, it becomes easier to be humble, patient, and full of compassion. Instead of pointing fingers, what if we reached out a helping hand? Instead of criticizing, what if we prayed? The world already has enough critics. What it needs is young people who live like Jesus — full of truth, but also full of love. Today’s Challenge: Think of someone you’ve judged in your heart lately. Say a prayer for them. Ask God to give you a humble heart and the grace to love them, even if they’re wrong. Prayer: Lord, teach me to see others the way You do. Help me remember that I fail too and need Your grace every day. Make me quick to love and slow to judge. In Jesus’ name, amen.
