Isaiah brings us the good news of a child born with the government on his shoulders. This child is Jesus Christ, the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Through His birth and death on the cross, we experience His Kingdom now (on earth), and we will experience His Kingdom to come (in the new heaven and earth). In His kingdom there will be peace, justice and righteousness. Jesus is asking, "Are you coming?"
