Welcome to the Personal Development Trailblazers Podcast! In this episode, we’ll dive deep into the lived experiences of individuals with disabilities and explore how society can shift its understanding of disability from limitation to opportunity. Michelle is a legally blind woman living in British Columbia, Canada. She attended the University of British Columbia from 2015 - 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts. She has been training MMA since 2017, and pole dancing and aerials since 2020. Michelle was an athlete on the Canadian National Para-Judo team from 2019 -2022. She purchased her first home in 2021, got negated in 2023, and launched her business in 2024.  Michelle is currently re-enrolled in college, obtaining basic accounting and bookkeeping certifications. She is working full time with the government as a licensing and complaints analyst and will be starting her new career as an investigating officer in January 2025.
