this one has had a few different names over the years, its old. i was finally convinced to name it from a line i heard in purple rain .. where after one of prince's shows kinda goes flop and he's in the dressing room, walking around back and forth with a mad prince look on his face... and someone walking by sees him making the mad prince face shouts "prince no one understands your music but you!" i always agreed with that statement for lots of different songs of my own. haha i can make a mad prince face too. thanks for the drum programming - skank mcnasty r.b. lyrics - though sometimes we don't act like we've known each other but we've known each other, for so long and it sticks and it burns. like other sides of the fence. and we see each other, on those other sides and it sticks and it burns. and we see each other on those other sides like we have never known each other. could i be this empty? when i give to you my love? could we be our insanity working us into a frenzy? she's not the one to ask but i'll be the one to blast drive it straight into my head. please baby, tell me you'll be my everything. everything. everything. everything. though it sticks it and burns, we live with regret. just different sides of the fence. though it sticks and it burns. just different sides of the mirror.
