No Passion To Be Found - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1853

“Send Coach John a message”I came across something that I must have needed to see and be reminded of and it came from Bob Starkey (@CoachBobStarkey) reminds us: “Don't settle.”  This quote he shares is from Nelson Mandela and it’s a powerful one:  “There is no passion to be found in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” I think it’s a reminder for all of us to realize the importance of having passion in our lives for the things that we find are important to us. Things that we have deep down inside of ourselves that we are fired up over. Of course this is something that becomes a bit more on the front burner of our stoves as we get older. If we can grasp our own connection to this mindset sooner than later AND keep it in mind frequently, I think that great things can happen for ourselves and those that we love. Remember, as we get better - so do the people around us. I know I have settled plenty of times. In other words, I have not worked hard many times in my life on my purpose, my calling. Now that I have a little bit more time to reflect on this, I can see that I still can do something about not settling.
