No Rocktober Baseball This Year...Again.
from Rockies Now Hosted by Elevated Pulse Sports
There won’t be any Rocktober baseball this year, but the Rockies still have plenty to play for down the stretch. On this episode of the Rockies Now Podcast, Tom and Sarah discuss Colorado’s push to avoid another 100-loss season and whether the team can find eight more wins over the final weeks. We look back at an exciting 10-7 victory over the Cardinals, the importance of playing small ball and keeping the lineup moving, and some encouraging signs from young players and pitchers, including Zac Veen, Cole Carrigg, Mason Adams, and Gabriel Hughes. We also start looking ahead to the offseason and what the Rockies’ roster could look like in 2027, including potential changes to the starting rotation and bullpen, the crowded outfield picture, and questions surrounding Jordan Beck and Ezequiel Tovar. Plus, we discuss which young players could have everyday roles next season, potential offseason additions, and whether the Rockies can embrace the role of playoff spoiler as they close out the year.
