He highlights the difference between racially prejudiced people and racism, between individual racists and structural racism. "Racism is always systemic," says Kehinde, and if we don't get this we then misdiagnose the problem and come up with the wrong solutions like representation and DEI eg tackling racism in UK club football, and the achievement gap in UK and US higher education. It gets us nowhere. Kehinde has a Malcolm X book out for Malcolm's 100th birthday in May 2025. The book's entitled.
