The Hammer will not drop on Michigan Football, and here is why. Yesterday, ESPN's Dan Murphy and Pete Thamel discussed the NCAA's notice of allegations draft against Michigan Football (Link: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/40724577/michigan-football-coach-sherrone-moore-violated-ncaa-rules-noa-draft-says ). I am no legal expert here, but given that most of Michigan's 2023 staff is elsewhere and Sherrone Moore was only given a level 2 violation, I doubt Michigan faces a postseason ban or vacated wins and Championships. A fine and/or a short suspension for Sherrone Moore is still on the table, but even those may be avoided, especially if Michigan chooses to sue. The notice of allegations is subject to change. I also discuss the cheating scandal as a whole and provide my thoughts on why it is clear the Wolverines cheated, but also why it is unlikely that Michigan's wins over Ohio State, in particular, are flukes.
