Premier League duo Thomas Partey and Tariq Lamptey have been left out of the Black Stars 27-man squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Chris Hughton named his squad for the tournament on Monday, January 1, with 12 days away from the start of the tournament. Partey has not played a competitive game since Ghana's October friendly games against Mexico and the United States of America.
