In which two men, steadfast upon a perilous Alpine passage, confront the unyielding forces of nature beneath a sullen sky, where silence and danger abound in equal measure, and the mountain’s severity tests their courage and wits. Thereupon, as a fierce storm ensnares them and betrayal brings grievous hazard, a devoted woman embarks upon a treacherous rescue, her resolute love illuminating the bleak and frozen desolation.
