Over the past six years, Restoration Day has grown to become one of the largest federal employee-sponsored environmental stewardship events in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Leight Estuary Center, the deputy secretary of Maryland's Department of Natural Resources, and the deputy director of the NOAA Chesapeake Bay office.
