NOAH!
from Zip Zap! · host Hotel Arcadia
This was based on an experience I had while in psychiatric hospital. This one is about a girl named Noah, an autistic patient who was being poorly treated by the people we trusted the most. Took some inspiration from early Spiderbait tracks haha. Hope you enjoy and take care! Swinging at the backdoor (It could be Noah) Confusion in the uproar (It could be Noah) Losing what she fought for (It could be Noah) Who else could it be? She just wants to be free Bright white hair Tattoos to share They say her mind's not even there You could see it in her stare She likes to work her hands And she's gotta move her feet Couldn't even stand still Falling to a beat She hates the gowns They itch around She's making sounds to settle down The pill gets thicker So that should fix her If she's still the same It's her temper to blame Swinging at the backdoor (It could be Noah) Confusion in the uproar (It could be Noah) Losing what she fought for (It could be Noah) Who else could it be? She just wants to be free Five years now Nothing profound The docs don't know how She's breaking down Yeah, it couldn't be her cell Or the bruises when she "fell" Or the numbers on her arm Pleading love away from harm A secret temple rests inside Another world where she could hide When the pill gets thicker And it don't fix her If she's still the same She's just living her name Swinging at the backdoor (It could be Noah) Confusion in the uproar (It could be Noah) Losing what she fought for (It could be Noah) Who else could it be? She just wants to be free (x2) "If all else fails, "Just lock the door "Maybe then she'll learn." Swinging at the backdoor (It could be Noah) Confusion in the uproar (It could be Noah) Losing what she fought for (It could be Noah) Who else could it be? She just wants to be free (x2) "Who else could it even possibly be?"
