Noah Cameron Shuts Down Angels | Kansas City Royals News

Noah Cameron delivered a masterclass on the mound, tossing a one-hit shutout against the Angels while striking out eight — the first Royals starter to do it since Zack Greinke in 2009. He nearly pitched a perfect game, cruising into the sixth before surrendering a walk, and kept hitters off balance with his sharp slider and changeup. His fastball even gained velocity as adrenaline kicked in, and calling his own pitches has boosted his confidence, dropping his ERA to 1.19 over his last five outings. Offensively, Michael Massey went 3-for-4 with a homer, and Bobby Witt Jr. ended his slump with a solo shot. The Royals leave the road feeling strong after winning the series thanks to stellar pitching and timely offense. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
