Nobody (2021)

from Everything Actioncast Hosted by Zach Sheets

This week on the Everything Actioncast, Zach and Chris are blowing stuff up with Bob Odenkirk and discussing 2021's Nobody as Nobody 2 arrives in theaters this weekend. Odenkirk plays Hutch Mansell, a former "auditor" for various government agencies who retired and lives a mundane, boring life in the suburbs. After a home invasion, he lets his old skills slip as he tries to find the thieves and inadvertently starts a war with the Russian mob, led by the ruthless Yulian (Aleksei Serebryakov). Zach and Chris discuss how the giant collection of money, the Obshchak, is a real thing, the similarities to John Wick and Taken, what Michael Ironside's manufacturing facility makes, how everything might have been different if Hutch had a car, and more. You can watch Nobody on Prime Video and rent/buy it on Fandango at Home and Apple TV. Next week, we're defending Earthrealm and discussing 1995's Mortal Kombat for its 30th anniversary.
