Nobody Knows You...Yet

On this episode of Oh, That's Random Podcast, Nerdy G sits down with upcoming gaming and lifestyle creator Vontae, aka VZA The Ruler, for a conversation about what it's really like trying to build something from the ground up.We talk about where Vontae's love for gaming started, Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat, finding his identity, building confidence, dealing with people who don't have the same hunger, staying consistent when the views aren't there, and learning to stop comparing your Chapter 1 to somebody else's Chapter 20.Vontae also breaks down his vision of combining gaming, lifestyle, health and personal growth into his content while challenging some of the stereotypes surrounding gamers. Then Nerdy G shares lessons from his own journey building Nerdy's Umbrella—including losing collaborators, building a team, learning the business side of content creation, experimenting with production, and figuring out how to turn content into an actual brand. This isn't a conversation from two people pretending the journey is easy. It's a conversation about BUILDING while you're still building. If you're sitting on an idea because nobody knows your name yet… this episode might be the one you needed.💬 QUESTION FOR CREATORS:What's the hardest part of building your platform when you're starting from zero?Drop it in the comments. And if you're another upcoming creator, drop your channel or @ below.
