On the evening of February 11, 2014, Noemi Gonzalez spoke to some of her siblings on the phone and nothing seemed amiss. At the time, her adult son was temporarily staying with Noemi and he was the last known person to see Noemi in her North Miami, FL home around 2:00am on February 12, 2014. He had woken up to use the restroom and he saw Noemi was asleep. He went back to bed and by the time her son woke up the next morning around 8 am, Noemi was gone. She had left all of her belongings behind, including important medication, her purse and phone.
