Non Compliance Verse 1 I seen a young child die, but I still comply; I never ask why, I just stay in line; I do what I’m told, I don’t speak my mind; But this war takes its toll, and I need to find; Some piece of mind; on why they need die; All these bodies building up, but whats the bottom line; Whats the reason why; You need to feed me lies; I’m fighting a war too, its called a 9 to 5; I’m just a common man; I be eating roman and; Chopped cheese, gotta keep it cheap everytime I can; I don’t got a dime to spend; I just got a line of men; And each one of them, want in, on some heroine; Devil at the door, but I can’t let him in; Gotta learn to live poor, cus its better than; That world that they want us living in; They got you thinking that hate, is American; But no dude, no salute; I can’t respect me a country that condones abuse; The system been broken, and the cops is loose; And my people still dien, and denying the truth; But thats fine; Cus some are gonna rise; Some will get together and no longer will comply; If peaceful revolution is something you deny; A Civil revolution will be conjured and revived; Verse 2 But we look past the man who aint got a home; And we hate their protest, cus they block the road; And we fear the projects, cus of what we told; Not knowing that the poor, keep a heart of gold; We refuse to spend our money here, right at home; We don’t support home grown, we let the fetti roam; We the ones without love, liven plenty cold; Marching to the same beat, until the day we old; Left foot, right foot, keep walking; Better to stay in line, than the lines they chalking; Comply or die, are the lies they talking; Cus they fear one thing, and that’s the uprise rocking; And when change starts knocking; We hit the door, lock it; But we hide in vain, cus ignorance can’t stop it; Revolution everywhere, but here, we just watch it; We rather fight on Youtube, with strangers over comments; They only care, from far away: Cus they scared to be Malcom or JFK; So the cops keep killing, even to this day; And the systems so broke, they help them get a way; And that hurts; our systems made of dirt; But we still like to vote, and sware that it works; I stand a toy soldier, refusing to convert; When compliance comes to death, revolution comes to birth;
