Fit & Able is a Cary 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds healthier communities through organizing creative events, programs, and activities. In addition to supporting its own programming, Fit & Able invites other local nonprofit organizations to take part in its 25+ annual events to raise funds and awareness for their charitable missions. Travis Wright Colopy, Executive Director of Fit & Able, discusses how he is re-purposing his newsletter to help local charities remain in the spotlight through the challenging times caused by COVID-19. Charities featured include Dorcas Ministries, The Carying Place, Triangle Aphasia Projected, LTD., SPCA of Wake County, Travis Manion Foundation, New Lease on Life, and others.
