Jen is deeply committed to advancing philanthropy and the fundraising profession. Jen is very excited to be co-authoring a book, Prospect Research for Fundraisers: The Essential Guide, with Helen Brown to be published in early 2013 by John Wiley & Sons as part of the AFP Fund Development Series. Helen Brown has been a development professional since 1987.  Currently she works with a variety of clients to establish, benchmark and re-align research departments; identify major gift prospects; and train researchers and other fundraisers through on-site and web-based training services. Helen is a former member of the board of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA). In 2006 she received the NEDRA Ann Castle Award for service to the prospect research community.
