Noreen Madden McInnes: Approaching Death with Hope of Resurrection

In the Easter Season, we contemplate our participation in the Paschal Mystery. The Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ not only reconcile us to the Father but also give us a sure hope of the resurrection ourselves. This hope of resurrection allows us to view death through the lens of eternity. Noreen Madden McInnis, Director of Liturgy & Spirituality for the Diocese of San Diego, has written a new book on New City Press entitled Keep at it Riley: Accompanying my Father through Death into Life in which she shares the story of her own journey accompanying her Father in the final days of his life. She shares with us the practical and spiritual insights she gained from her role as caregiver.
