Norm was filling in for Bob Raleigh and had just come on after WBZ aired a baseball game. It was a weird time when BZ was making bipolar broadcasting decisions by airing random games no one cared about. It was most likely laying some groundwork to the eventual creation of The Sports Hub…maybe…as it only took another 10 years or so for that to materialize.
