It all begins with Bob McMahon from WBZ News and his intro to the Accuwx Forecast w/the lovely and exciting Roy Gallant. Then Norm introduces Jack Harte for Traffic sponsored by IHOP! That Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity Breakfast was a bargain! Next, our ears are caressed with the voice of Dr. Lonnie Carton, host of The Learning Center. Sally Six-Pack to Charlie Coke-head were in attendance. Now the big DBG Theme to launch the frivolity. Players: Helen from Boston Jimmy in Winthrop Ann from Everett Joe the Baker Karen Meslener I’m in Studio And Jack Harte.   The comedy-soaked Birthdays are spread over FOUR days! Dom Deluise Geoffrey Holder Joe Elliot Norm left a bunch of bdays on the table for 8/1 and refused to divulge who they were! So, we move to 8/3: Martin Sheen And we may have to send search and rescue out to find Ann. Tony Bennett Now on to 8/5 for: Loni Anderson Annnnnnd 8/6 for: Robert Mitchum   Other revelations! Norm is fired up for this one. Norm has been remiss in sending out prizes and his 2-week recovery has made it worse. Jimmy is still waiting for his Woodsman’s Weather Stick from 8-months ago. Turns out that was MY responsibility. The sales dept has started locking their drawers and placing notes not use their typewriters! Norm chortles along with Karen. The jokes are so bad Norm feels it may be worse than when he left. He just may have more surgery and take another 3-4 weeks off and hopes I have gotten all the crumby jokes out of my system. Jack Benny has returned in fine voice! Norm was practicing with the nurses at Salem Hospital. Another Birthday Game Scandal may very well erupt There’s only one book in the WBZ Library. Down in the dumps? Depressed? Call Karen. Oh la dee da oh wee ha ha Is Norm dreaming this and he’s still in Salem Hospital?   On a separate note…Ann sounds like Ruth Clennott!
