At the age of 24, she faced a sudden brain hemorrhage, leading to three weeks in a coma and two months on life support. Lisa battled pneumonia, heart attacks, and uncontrollable seizures as her organs shut down. At one point, her family was faced with the heartbreaking decision to potentially turn off her life support. Miraculously, her brain began to recharge, defying the odds. Throughout a year of hospitalization, Lisa underwent numerous surgeries, from open heart surgery to the amputation of a leg, toes, and nine fingertips, along with a hip replacement.
