Norristown water main break fixed after leaving about 100 without water for days
from KYW Newsradio Audio On-Demand
Officials in Montgomery County say crews have fixed a main break in Norristown and water service has been restored to all customers. The pipe burst at the intersection of DeKalb and Elm Streets on Monday. It left about 100 people without water for days. Pennsylvania American Water is thanking customers for their patience. It says any customers who experience cloudy or discolored water should run the cold water taps only, at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes until the water runs clear.
