#norsegods #odin #witchcraftIn this episode of Norse Tales, NWK Gothi Bodvarr reads the story of the Voluspa or the Sybils Prophecy, It is the first poem in most collections of the Poetic Edda. The poem starts with a witch or seeress declaring that she has knowledge all things and begins to recite stanzas of the creation myth, binding of Loki, death of Balder and a few others ending with Ragnorok and what comes after. It is a foundational story that every one calling themselves Asatru or Norse pagan, should know. I will be reading from the second printing 1969, of Patricia Terry's Poems of the Vikings.
