Genevieve and Kyra are joined by their first guests this week. They discuss Local Ecological Knowledge and get an insight into North Carolina Fisheries research being conducted by their peers and colleagues Samantha Farquar and Andrew McMains, both working on their PhDs at East Carolina University. Samantha discusses working with local NC fishers to research concerns with environmental change, while Andrew looks at how fishes use the inlets around the Outer Banks of North Carolina using acoustic methods.
