Northern Homosphere

from VIBErations Radio by DJ Chris Sugden · host VIBErations Radio by DJ Chris Sugden

There’s a story behind this story. This mix marks my 10th year as a DJ. When I started this journey, I had no idea where it would lead—countless unforgettable parties, lifelong friendships, meeting the love of my life, and discovering music as both a creative outlet and a source of healing. These days, I don’t have as much time to dedicate to music as I once did, which somehow makes every mix even more special. Each time I sit down to create, I’m reminded how much I love the process and how the magic always seems to reveal itself along the way. This project is especially meaningful because it involves someone I admired long before we became friends. For years, I was a total fan of Australian DJ Andrew Hilton. Last year, I finally had the chance to meet him, spend a weekend together with our husbands, and discover that he’s every bit as kind and genuine as I’d hoped. It was a reminder that music truly is a universal language—one that connects us across oceans, cultures, and experiences. So Andrew and I came up with a crazy idea: What if we each created a mix and released them at the exact same time? The result is Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere—two mixes created from opposite sides of the world, released together as a celebration of friendship, creativity, and the incredible community that music brings together. Do yourself a favor and check out his Southern Homosphere, as well as his catalogue of magical mixes on SoundCloud! In many ways, our mixes are a love letter to one another as artists, and to all of you who continue to listen, dance, and share this journey with us. Enjoy. 🎶🌎 ❤️🌈
