Northern Premier League Preview

This week’s edition of Moorlands Sport Extra, in association with Leek Building Society, is now out. It is that time of the year again when we build up to the Northern Premier League big kickoff which is this weekend. We speak to the four Northern Premier League clubs we cover on Moorlands Radio to see how they are shaping up for the new season. From Leek Town we hear from manager Josh Brehaut as he prepares to take his side to FC United of Manchester for the Northern Premier League Premier Division curtain raiser. Meanwhile, we hear from Richard Duffy, the Congleton Town boss, as his team look to begin their second season in the Northern Premier League West. Chairman Gavin Appleby represents Newcastle Town, and he gives us the lowdown as to what is going on at the Red Industries Stadium ahead of their trip to Bury. Finally, Kidsgrove Athletic’s Oliver Jepson shares his hopes for the new season. Grove are at home tomorrow to Wythenshawe Town.
