Northern Rivers Dingo Alliance - Sole
from CHOPSUEY ROAMING RADIO Hosted by Sista Rasela
For thousands of years dingoes have lived in harmony with Indigenous communities. They are a native animal, and yet they haven't been given that official classification. In fact, in many states hunters are rewarded for killing them, and that's put a question mark over their survival. The Northern Rivers Dingo Alliance is hoping to change the way we see the dingo. My guest Sole speaks to the importance of dingoes in our eco system, their family units, backyard breeders, the dingo policy in the Northern Rivers, and the significance of the black dingo for the Bundjalung nation of NNSW.
