Northfield’s Labor Day Revival | Montpelier News

Northfield’s Labor Day celebration exploded this past weekend, drawing thousands to a vibrant, community-driven fest that’s been a staple since the 70s—complete with food, crafts, live music, wrestling, and a massive parade featuring Norwich cadets. After nearly being canceled due to volunteer shortages, the event is now thriving, boasting 50 vendors, local sponsorships, and free family rides—all fueled by community spirit. With crowds hitting 6K–8K over the weekend and potential for 10K in the parade, it’s clear this beloved tradition is not just surviving—it’s soaring.
