Northwestern Lands BYU Transfer Kostić

Aleksej Kostić, a six-foot-four shooter from Austria, has committed to Northwestern mens basketball, joining the Wildcats from BYU. Kostić averaged 4.4 points per game off the bench for the Cougars, but his production increased significantly in the final eight games, including the Big Twelve Tournament and NCAA action. Before college, he played in the Austrian Superliga and led Austria to fourth place in the FIBA Under-Eighteen Eurobasket. Northwestern is looking to boost their backcourt with Kostićs Big Twelve experience, and fans will be watching to see how he fits into their rotation next season.
